Apt X or One X Bluetooth issues?

When I used my old HTC Desire to play music/watch Youtube, I could connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to The Wife's Conran Audio dock in the dining room from my chair in the living room (approx 15'). Never had an issue.

Since getting my One X, I have a lot of drop-outs at this distance, no issues when the phone is nearer the dock. Is it the phone that's at fault or does the new Apt-X processing have a diminished range over regular Bluetooth?

Hi Chris,

The aptX encoder is implemented in different other phones (Motorola, Samsung, Sharp etc..,), never experienced audio drop out issue. But it is worth checking with HTC one support team.

The wifi keeps on highpower mode and interferes with the bluetooth signal.
