usb pc/tablet WASAPI output to dac

I have just spotted acer iconia w500 tablet pc (running win 7 or Cool for sale around 250 at ebuyer.
I wanted to know if it is possible to configure the usb ports on the devicd to have wasapi output to an external dac.
It would be a fantastic way of using the usb input for whatever dac you have withthe fuctionability of a touch screen device to control the music with lots of options at your fingertip. It many ways it could be of better quality input and output to a dac.
All tbe c onvenience of computer audio software such as foobar or jriver withouta pc always on, just a standby tablet.
Any thoughts?
