Freeview HD updates ?

Hi

I just bought a tv with built in tuner and it has some HD channels on it. However, I also have a separate freeview recorder but when I update the channels on it, it doesnt pick up any HD ones. Is it because the tuner is in the HD tv and the recorder isnt ?

Yes, the HD tuner is in the TV so only the TV will pickup the HD channels. To get Freeview HD on your recorder, you'll need to purchase a new one with an HD tuner in (like the Digital Stream DHR8205 or the Humax HDR-FOX T2).
