Anyone heard of them?

Had a flyer through the post today and given we live in a village with a 1mb B/B speed the offer of satellite B/B at speeds of 18 mb is quite enticing!

I understand that there are delays connecting which would effect me if I was allowed a PS3, but I'm not! So are there any other catches that I should be worried about?!

They're a reputable company.

They're basically resellers/agents for Eutelsat/Skylogics Tooway service operated from Ka-Sat @ 9°E.

Speeds are pretty consistent, the downside is the cost/download allowances (compared to 'terrestrial' b/band).

Yep cost is an issue, but what is the alternative! I want decent download speeds that are reliable. Every provider reckons I'll get around 1 to 2 mb speed by 'conventional' broadband.

I won't need my BT line saving £140 a year plus my B/B monthly cost - only £60 a year.

All will help reduce the overall cost.

Not ideal, but as with much of life a compromise is needed.
