Ethernet Switch Device Priority

Hello

I have just bought an ethernet switch so i can connect all my devices via cable. It has two high priority,  two med priority and four low priority ports. One of which the instructions say i should connect my router to. I have my Sky HD Box which will download programs via on demand, Blu Ray Player which I will stream photo's to, PS3 which i will stream music and video to i am only an occasional gamer and would online game even less, desktop pc for General browsing and youtube downloading (legally) ripping and sending to nas and general organising. Then lastly my NAS. I Would like to know given my useage which port would you plug which device into.

Thanks for your help

Kev.

It probably will only make a difference if you use all these things at once. HD video and music are more time critical than photos, and general files so I would give them the highest priority.

I'd put the NAS and PS 3 on hi, Bluray and PC on med and everything else on lo.
