Looking for recommendation for easy to use DAB/CD
English

My aging parents (in their 90's) need a new combined radio and CD player; so I'm looking for recommendations.

Both are partially disabled, so it's got to have a remote control. Also, neither will get the hang of any form of menu driven or touch sensitive display.

It needs to be as easy to use from the remote as their very simple TV: One button to switch on, buttons to select three or four preset stations or the CD player, buttons for volume up/down. Ideally, nothing more.

Price is not particularly sensitive, however as I've just bought them a perfectly good Samsung TV for £150, I can't see any justification for spending more than £100. They are not audiophiles (both have hearing aids).

Does such a thing exist; or are all the manufacturers abandoning oldies?

Gareth

Thanks. I need to dig into how the presets are actually selected, but it looks like the ticket.

There are preset buttons on the unit and the remote.

It looks ideal for what you want.
