Currys and PC World sales start online at 7pm Christmas Eve, Boxing Day in store

Currys and PC World are predicting record numbers of shoppers will go online to snap up sales bargains on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, ahead of the Boxing Day sales in its stores.

So both companies will kick off the sales season with their offers going online at 7pm on December 24th, with in-store sales beginning on Boxing Day morning.

They're predicting that TVs will continue to be extremely popular, and to that end there will be "massive savings" on smart, 3D and big-screen televisions, including some 50in TVs for less than £500. Tablets and laptops are also expected to be much sought after.

Here's a sneak preview of some of the deals you'll be able to get:

• Samsung UE60F4300 60in smart LCD/LED TV £999 (save £500)

• Panasonic TX-L50EM6B LCD/LED TV £499 (save £300)

• WD My Passport Ultra 2TB portable hard drive £90 (save £40)

• Goji Stryder On Cloud 9 on-ear headphones £30 (half price)

For these and more offers head on over to and from 7pm on Christmas Eve if you want to beat the Boxing Day rush.
