These Mission stands come with the option of spikes or gel pads on the top plate, together with floor spikes on the base-plate. And they're capable.

Dynamics are punchy and tonally you get a smooth midrange and tight bass. Although the treble could do with being less thin, it's a good sound overall.

Use £200-£400 speakers with them and they'll do a fine job.
