No; not at all, as staed above really.The RS6's were great speakers but the RX6's have really gone one better.Depper, more detailed and tauter bass with plenty of kick and slam. The midrange is very smooth but detailed and well timed and the treble is bob on. Not bright at all but crisp and clear and a delight with vocals. But, dont forget, that's in my opinion and with the NAD gear feeding them!

The M/A RX2's are great speakers; on decent stands they sounded superb with the NAD gear but as I've a fairly large living room, it can take the floorstanders with ease plus the RX6's are hell of a lot smaller than the RX2's when on stands; they're 1m tall on 600mm stands (i.e. Atacama HS1's or Partington Super Dreadnoughts)!The bass depth and punch on the M/A RX6's is addictive as well... The kick you get when playing Massive Attack and stuff by The Beastie Boys is superb
