Still running in at the

Still running in at the moment, but the preparations for National KEF Week has interrupted that!

So far, you can tell the new tweeter has made quite a difference. The older models were a little laid back, whereas the newer models are much more exciting to listen to.

Hi alchemist 1 I shared some

Hi alchemist 1

I shared some of my views on ATC's new curved SCM7 and curved SCM11 passive monitors with you (and others) back in August here http://www.whathifi.com/forum/hi-fi/atc-0

Btw, the curved SCM7's and curved SCM11's don't need breaking in because having used these monitors extensively for two channel and multi channel use I can tell you that they sound they sound exactly the same as they did on day one.

All the best

Why are you not listed under ATC dealers?

Listen to the music, not the hifi.

I never got to demo ATCs, how do they compare with say Kef LS50s?

Listen to the music, not the hifi.

I haven't had a chance as yet to compare the new ATC to the LS50 yet. Sad

All I can say is that I did get the R300 to sound very similar to the old SCM11 by using the supplied bungs (full bung). That was an interesting demo...

Did you write that review Rick?  Wink

Seriously though, that's a great review and if you and WHF are even half right about the gains over the 11s I have I really need to get a listen of these. Interesting also to see how great the WHF photos of the speakers look compared to the stock photos that have been floating around. That wood veneer looks really classy, in a league with speakers double the price  Smile

I am the danger.

They do look far better in the flesh than the originally released photos.
