This Nordost is flat, expensive and very good. It sounds fast, and delivers a wealth of detail that few others can match. The problem is the price: the Blue Heaven doesn't do quite enough to justify the premium over something like Ecosse's excellent MS2.3, which is nearly half the price. A hint of grit in the treble and a slightly edgy tonal balance don't help, either.
