NEWS: Denon's new iPod dock adds wi-fi streaming

This is the £160 ASD-3W, one of two new iPod docks from Denon. And as well as offering complete compatibility with the company's latest 08 series components and universal appeal via a supplied remote control, the new unit also has onboard wi-fi operation, enabling it to stream music from computers and Network Attached Storage devices, plus internet radio.

The ASD-3W uses high-quality digital to analogue conversion and preamp, and is compatible with all 4G/5G/6G iPods with the 30-pin connector, including the latest nano, iPod Classic, Touch and iPhone models. It also has a new on-screen user interface for easy set-up.

Also available is a non-wi-fi version, the £120 ASD-3N, which offers similar capabilities, but does its network streaming via a cabled Ethernet connection.
