Samsung ATIV Q tablet – hands-on review
The newly announced Samsung ATIV Q tablet has to be one of the most versatile tablets available. Not only does its shape-shifting design make it a do-it-all tablet/laptop hybrid, it also offers Dual OS, running full Windows 8 and Android at the same time.
It's not the most portable of devices, by tablet standards, with its 13.3in screen, but we're willing to forgive it for that when it has an impressive screen resolution of 3200 x 1800.
Its 13.9mm thick, weighs in at 1.3kg. That's impressive considering its sturdy magnesium and plastic construction, which contains a Haswell Core i5 CPU, 256GB solid-state drive, 4GB of RAM and a reported battery life of an iPad-beating 12 hours.
Connectivity is impressive too, with two USB ports, Bluetooth 4.0, an Ethernet port, micro HDMI and microSD card slot too.
The Samsung ATIV Q release date and pricing is yet to be announced. Keep checking whathifi.com for a full review as soon as we can get our hands on it.
