Nah, the processor speed might make a small difference, but there will always be lipsync issues....

Doesn't look like your BDP300 has a delay function. You could add one of these to the analog output: http://www.cypeurope.com/store/store/app/product/AU-D18/Lip-Sync-Corrector...

Any learning remote will do. You can find very cheap ones and more expensive ones (like the Logitech Harmony, which can control about every IR device in your home).

The manual is actually pretty complete, but I agree it's not always easy to find what you need. The information you need is on page 45 of the manual (http://docs.pioneer.eu/Manuals/SC_LX57_K...

Sure, cat6a is more than enough for this purpose: most products even work over cat5. The reason I suggested cat7 is to be future-proof if you want to use it for 4K or 8K in the future....
