I do not agree with the original review - at all. The sound of the XTZ 99 W12.18 ICE is among the tightest and controlled I´ve heared at any price level. The XTZ certainly beats the highly regarded B&W PVD in that respect. It is quite impossible to complain about the "character" of the XTZ ´cause it only means You haven´t adjusted it properly. So, is the original review an attempt to protect the remains of the british audio industry? I fear so. But go and listen for Yourselves. You should have plenty of space though. Something rarely seen in british homes. In its homeland Sweden it is highly regarded and then you should know that swedes are highly suspicious to their own marks. The XTZs compete with Velodyne and SVS more expensive models. REL and B&Ws are no match. And, when You try, please, avoid ANY spikes. A several times debunked audio-improving myth outside UK.

A superb budget tablet that, while not flawless, shows some of its pricier competition how it’s done
This Bose is tiny, but its warm, rich bassy sound is music to our ears
The Panasonic WT600 is a very capable TV regardless of its futureproofing and 4K picture
