I absolutely LOVE this radio...I have two now - one in cream and recently got an Emma Bridgewater Polka Dot one for my kitchen. It has been a summer godsend this year and I love the fact with its battery compartment you can take it outside and continue to enjoy music during the BBQ season! I think the sound quality is great and I partcularly like the fact that the clock sets itself via the DAB signal as we have lots of power cuts (as i can never get that bit to work on other clocks or radios i have had)! The fact that my iPhone keeps charged all day as a result of the docking station is just an added bonus!
I really don't understand how you could give this five stars. It's really quite dreadful. It's not possible to save to the pre sets meaning that to change from Radio 2 to Planet Rock you have to press the forward button 20 times and listen to the awful undamped noise that the button makes. It's a cheap nasty under designed pile of chinese rubbish that thought it would jump on the retro bandwagon without thought for the functionality of the unit. Utter garbage. In order to keep my sanity I returned mine and bought an Evoke 2s. Different league altogether.
