I really want to try this amp with my audiovector s3 signature speakers!
Simply stating that it needs carefull system-matching isn't very helpfull, please tell us what speakers the whathifi-team has partnered the S6 with, and what the result were.
That said, anyone haven an idea if the S6 would be a good partner for my Harbeths Compact 7ES-3. I was already saving for a P70 (push-pull) but would prefer an single ended amp if it can provide enough drive for my Harbeths.
You state in the review it requires careful system matching, and that is true for most valve amplifiers. Which speakers did you use or recommend while testing this amplifier? I heard the ProAc's match well with valves, and since the Proac D18 is in the best buy section, it seems a good match?
