You know, it proves once again Samsung has a problem in making a led/lcd panel without backlite bleed!! Sony brought panels from them in 2009 and the whole Wxxxx series was affected costing them a star in the reviews.
Samsung led tvs cannot be a No 1 choice with this uncertainty....ever since sony took on sharp panels in their Hx 8xx series we see this problem ending.
The patchy lightning problems is more the rule rather than the exceptions on this range. Mine also has the problems.
sorry have you just consolidated on a dodgy samsung panel...unacceptable
