Generally average performance that's easily beaten for value.

Well built and tough: just what you'd expect from a brand now best known for its DJ turntables. Comfort levels are also good, due to wide, well-shaped ear pads.
In action, the Technics are open and clear-sounding, with plenty of bass kick – they relish something hard-hitting, such as Nelly Furtado's Maneater.
However, put them up against talented, price-comparable rivals, and their shortcomings are easy to spot.
A lack of transparency and precision – as well as a failure to grasp rhythm tracks with conviction – results in a generally average performance that's easily beaten for value.
