I had a good long play with one of these in my local Sony Centre. The wireless keyboard (with inset mouse) was neat, and it looks lovely, but I can't help thinking they've got the pricing all wrong.
You can buy a PS3 for £300 that covers most of the multimedia functions this VAIO does (including TV PVR to come), and buy a very decent laptop (which you can use anywhere) for only a few hundred quid more.
Sony is going downhill fast, products are all about marketing and little substance. This is clear evidence.
This should cost no more than 300-400, even with a Sony badge it should be no more than 550-600.
Also the Operating System is a shocker...Sony is more interested in selling your activity than in delivering good products...
Stay well away from this...

A decent, affordable effort from Otone but sound quality is tainted by a distracting brightness
Chord’s QBD76 HDSD is a top-class converter that delivers a brilliant sound from a well-built package. It has plenty of visual appeal, too
