Over HDMI There is no difference.....
If wifi and 2 HDMIs is not important to you then buy this model, it is exactly the same for picture and audio over the 790 and save yourself 100 Quid.
We think the BDP-S790 still has a slightly better picture and sound. However, for the money, the '490 is a terrific buy.
