Worth updating this review to say that the ZoneBridge is now only £39 (since early 2011) and is sometimes bundled for free (it currently is with the Play:3, until end of Nov 2011, I think).
I've just bought the ZP-90 and it's brilliant - everything that the What HiFi review said it would be. Running Apple Lossless rip files into my (home theatre Onkyo 875) amp via an Ixos Digital co-ax cable gives fabulous results. And the Sonos app for my iPhone works a treat.
So....I'm struggling to justify spending another 279 for the CR200. If I didn't have the iPhone then it would be a certain buy, but is nearly 300 for a slightly better screen and slightly faster response good value. Answer - not at the moment.
I have a ZP-90 with a QNAP TS219P NAS drive. I decided to RIP my CD's to WAV and I find this brilliant. I am using the SONOS controller on my Lap Top which I find most convenient (though I do have an Iphone with the App on it).
I am feeding the ZP-90 into my Cyrus 8VS2 amp into Spendor A6's and the SONOS is well up to providing a good quality source.
I bought the SONOS as I wanted to try Digital streaming without spending an arm and a leg. I am convinced that eventually streaming is the way to go and with a good quality RIP/download can provide a great musical source.
