OK everyone wind their necks in a bit. As I said in my reply to TechMad, in the absence of any evidence to the contrary, I think his accusation was out of order.
darkdealx, it was about 3/4 days but I would guess its best to check with them. As to being able to show the changes I really would not know how I could do that. I am just a home cinema enthusiast who was pleased with his upgrade and felt it was worth mentioning, as it seemed to be omitted from the review, that you can have your own box modified.
I'm also too very interested to modifying my HD Box, could i kindly ask how many days exactly 'turn around' it took for them to modify it?
As also to kindly ask if you're able to show or know of a link of the subtle changes to the picture quality for SD & HD Broadcasts please?
Unless you – and that's the word, not 'u' – have any evidence to support your allegations, please retract them.
Hi Kevin, Yes I had my own Amstrad DRX895 box which I sent in for upgrade. It was turned around in a matter of days. I have it connected with a Reference powerkord with a Wattgate 350 on.
Hi Nig.Moo i am so very envious of you and your upgrade hd box. I have a few leads and other Russ Andrews upgrade bits which work well, i can only imagine how good this upgrade box is. Only thing i thought that due to the amount of various makes and models of hd box, Russ Andrews discontinued the upgrade service. Now i believe they just offer the Upgraded box as a purchase product.
Or did you have the TB box and send that in???
I have owned an upgraded box for approximately two months now and could not agree with the review more. I have found it an amazing upgrade. One thing not mentioned in the review is that you can have your own box upgraded by them which makes it far more affordable.
