is the RX6 5.1 much better than the old RS6 5.1.
These speakers are brilliant!! They sound natural with tight clean bass and come in the amazing high gloss black finish!! A perfect companion to the Pioneer sc lx-82.
Ive recently heard these with a couple of AVRs;Pioneers 'lx53,Yamahas 1067 & onkyos TXSR808 in which case i thought the yamaha really done them the best justice,with the pio clearly 2nd & the onkyo a distant 3rd.But this is a mighty speaker pack from M.A.,they will tame an amp like the pio or absolutely sparkle with the yamaha.The onkyo had a lot of power but lacked the detail the other 2 AVRs put out on these M.A.s,point being if 1 has 2200stg these are worth the outlay,A very versatile pack to say the least!
I'm considering the MA's for my new home cinema setup with RX8 front & RX6 back with the usual centre & W12 woofer, going with Pioneer 82/52 combo. Need floorstanders as it more in keeping with style.
Is this a good setup for a large room?
