Oh yes, I have heard it too (didn't really need to from past experience of Roberts) and it sounds lovely.
I have telephoned Roberts Radios in Yorkshire and found out that all their 'Revival' models still have cabinets made in the UK and the innards assembled and tested here too.
This news (and my previous ownership of many old classic Roberts radios) means I will be buying one soon.
There is still nothing like the sound of a wood cabinet Roberts radio and knowing that there is still significant British input to it's construction makes it even better for me. (Nothing sinister. I just like - wherever possible - to try and keep someone here in work. Like most, I also have - and enjoy - products made in China but would be disappointed if the 'Revival' production had moved there.)
