I bought these a year ago, and had to return them and was sent another set from the manufacturer under warranty, the replacement set failed for the same reason as the first set,,,,,,In both instances the wire mesh fell out the ear peices and I lost the sound in on earpiece....both sets...same prob. When they were working they had very good sound, but reliability seems to be their Achilles heel.
Purchased a pair of these MA-350s to replace some Sony MDR-EX77s (which I was very happy with, right up until one side stopped working).
First impressions are good: nice build quality, yet pretty light to wear, and the the braided cable is a good idea. Sounds quality is at least on par with my previous Sony pair. I don't listen to a lot of music with heavy bass, and these suit my taste in that respect. When I tried a track with more bass, the RHAs seemed to struggle a bit: I'll see whether that changes when they've run in a bit more.
Like the fact that these are British made: kudos to the RHA team, and I hear that the customer service is pretty good. Their website is touting a 3-year warranty, which certainly sounds impressive.
I bought my MA-350s from a local Maplin store for the princely sum of £30 (Sept '12). For my purposes, which is primarily use during my daily commute, that represents very good value for money.
my previous buds were a pair of Sennheiser CX's, the difference is staggering, these are unbeilevably trebly, harsh and metallic....I had to reduce all treble and some midrange EQ to zero to get them to sound even listenable, very disapointing.
why they are rated 5 stars is beyond me.
Very good for the price. Powerful even when using mobile devices. Insulation is indeed excellent for everyday use.
Considering what else you can get at this price, these are definately amongst the best within the sub - £30 budget.
I bought a few sets for gifts at Christmas!!
Outstanding price for the quality and of course they are homemade (British)!!
Well worth the 5 stars.

With a nicely balanced sound, good looks and an attractive price, this powerful-sounding Loewe speaker is an appealing wireless option
A decent enough performer but not particularly engaging
A fine 4K TV that’s full of pros and with only a few cons. A real contender
