As previously posted the new Quad QSP suffers from poor speaker protection with turn on & turn off thumps not noticed by WHF,have had to reject two QSP amps. now being modified by IAG who say they have solution but I have not experienced it so far. With regard to the sound I find it to be excellent and am not suprised by WHF comments because I find Bryston products unlistenable their amps are very harsh sounding. The Quad Elite preamp should have been used without Quad Link for best bass performance.
. Bass especially from Acoustic Insight speaker is excellent. A 5 star amp if speaker protection problem is solved.
