Warm hi to What HiFi experts and all friends.
After reading review in What HiFi (My trusted magazine which has gave the prestigous Product of the Year awards to Q300s) I have listened to my familiar musics through Q300 standmounts of this package driven by NAD C356BEE amplifier and NAD C315BEE player for an hour on hi fi shop floor, (not demo room), I couldn't satisfy myself to buy, the sound was a touch hard and uninvolving for me.
Now I'm thinking of buying subwoofer unit of this package for just music listening, and I'm eager to know what is magazine experts and friends opinions here, considering my purpose of usage just for music, or does it's performance justifiy it's price range ?
I don't understand why this package is in the style speaker category, when it is clearly a traditional one.
Now sorted, apologies.
My dad his older Q7 floorstanding speakers sounded a bit colored compared to the speakers i am used to. Still nice but have they become more to the side of neutral nowadays or not? How great these speakers may be you still have to love their sound right? How would they compare to the older range?
hi i was thinking of getting this set up and was wondering if people think the new onkyo 609 amp would be good/powerfull enough? if not what would people recommend + do they do stands just for this speakers ?
many thanks mike
Problems wallmounting the rears? There's always standmounting. EDITED feng shui! HEHE!

This versatile all-in-one solution has plenty of features to root for, but sound quality isn’t one of them
As exciting and flamboyant as it is, the 2010S2 has too many caveats when it comes to dynamics and cohesiveness for us to recommend it over rivals<
A sharp, exciting picture with essential smarts – and at a terrific price
