Is the ethernet connection for updates only or can one use it to play surrond sound music files from one's PC?
How high a resolution can it play 5.1 files over ethernet, 24bit/96kHz maybe?
How does it deal with DSD input. Does it convert DSD to PCM at all.
How would one feed it it Mch DSD, over HDMI or analogue?
Its very quiet "surrounding" Pioneers 2013 models... Namely the SC-LX87. Will it show up in the awards issue while holding its crown?... along with little LX brother...
Our review of the new Pioneer SC-LX57 has just gone online. And mighty fine it is too:
Done. I blame the heat. It's getting to us
I think you should correct the following. I don't think Pioneer will appreciate to be called Panasonic (or maybe they will)
The Panasonic VSX-923 is a 7.2 channel receiver rated at 150W per channel (into 6 ohms), and has been given a spec update over the previous version.

The gorgeous retro design is hard to resist, but the TEAC fails to deliver an engaging and musical performance at this price
The all-round ability of the Luna 7 means it should sit well with a very wide range of systems
A poor implementation of a neat concept, with poor sound to boot. Disappointing
