I was looking forward to this product for a while.Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the overall sound.
Maybe I expected too much, but my current B&W 685 stand-mounters with a NAD setreo amp just sound so much better. Voices are clearer, soundstage better (obviously they are placed more apart than a single soundbar, but still I expected some kind of wider feel...)
True, I don't get any sound form the back with them, but I really think I am compromising by listening to the soundbar instead.
I tried a few 5.1 films, like a DTS version of Harry Potter - order of phoenix. In the scene where the wizards are fighting against each other underground, I can feel sound going around. Similarly Iron Man or Dark Night. But it all sounds so strange compared to the clarity of fthe B&Ws.
Even the bass felt better than what the Philips sub seems to muster...
I think that the soundbar will be going back, and I will try to get a pair of wireless rear speakers (even if powered), to complement the B&Ws.
Anyone could recommend what would go nicely with ?
Any recommendation is welcome...

A seriously talented performer that has a few design issues
This is a top-notch surround package for the money. It’s a worthy alternative to the award-winning KEF R100 5.1
A great amp with some notable musical skills, but it loses a star compared with its better-performing, better-specified rivals
