Very disappointing ! But let’s start with the good. Great style, fit and when they work properly the sound is also great. That’s where it ends though. Definitely not the most advanced headphones in the world. They suffer a lot from external interference, which all of my other wireless gadgets definitely do not ! So why does the Parrot Zik ? Anyway, after many tries and failures from the support teams, and several updates and fixes later, still the functionality of these headphones is very unreliable. Problems such as sound level changing on its own, cancelling out all together, and the pause/start function when you take the headphones off pauses ok, however does not resume correctly, and only a reboot sorts out the problem for a short while. I even took them back to the shop and they refused to change them for me, they said my problem was with the manufacturer, they said a design fault. So I’m stuck with my very expensive but useless headphones. Sorry guys, you have to work on those electronics before you can claim the most advanced headphones in the world ! After all, it’s not the most advanced electronics that got men into space, it was the most reliable !
lazsjs2000 - sorry to hear you had a disappointing experience with the Parrot Zik. We distribute the brand in the UK, and rarely hear of any such issues. There is certainly no 'design fault' with the headphones.
Was it a UK retailer that refused to exchange your unsatisfactory pair? Please let me know so I can resolve this for you!
The WhatHiFi team can put us in touch directly if you're happy for them to email you with my details.
Great Headphones and even though I lose a little battery time compared to the Bose, the swipe features / functionality work amazingly and make up for this 10 times!! Searching today on Amazon.co.uk I found that there are 3 new colours being released!!! Wished i had waited as the Black/Black version looks stunning! Check them out.

Next-gen gaming is a glorious reality but you’ll have to make do without some last-gen features
The original X 300 was a great power amplifier. This Signature version is clearly better
If you want an affordable 8in tablet then this is worth a look – but there are too many flaws in its performance for us to really recommend it
