got rid of 55 samsung d8000 and replaced with this and very happy indeed excellent picture quality wether be HD 2d 3d or standard def using sony bdp s 570 with slight motion issue ? could be player or maybe disc but most films are spot on also as bonus got it for £1650 with discount code from currys bonus to get 2 glasses and wifi dongle aswell wont be dissapointed with it

Would like to know what what hifi's thoughts are regarding the green blob fault on these TV's. I had it on my first set and it's also on my replacement. If you do a Internet search you will find lots of people complaining about it. Are Panasonic going to address the issue?

Seen the VT20 50" Version in action & i must say its was disappointing in 2D,Not HD2D but SD2D.It was really showing rough edges & motion wasn't good either.I say this because i can get the pana tx-p50vt20 for £50 more than the sony 46 hx803.But after comparing them im going for the sony as i reckon il be watching a fair bit of 2D. incl. SD2D. Funny thing about 2 yrs ago i was in a simular position.I bought a pana 50 g10,when i started watching cable,no matter what i done i couldn't get an orange tint out from the picture,so i sent it back and was told to pick another TV which was the TV i was getting in the first place a sony 46 w5500,which IMO was the best TV ive had to date incl the 40 w4500.So for whatever reason Both pana's vt20 & sonys hx803 are going for less than half original RRP.So it will be another Sony not because im biased but because ive been getting Sony TVs since mid90s & have never let me down.

Getting really tired of every decent plasma being compared to KURO.Nearly every time you read an opinion or question its: Yes,its a great TV,but is it a KURO beater?Surely over 2 yrs on people should consider their own needs and expections,& not worry wether a premium plasma does blacks as good as a 2 yrs defunct TV range. There are a lot more things to consider in 2011 when buying a TV.

Hello, I just want to say I was looking and reading many comparative reviews on various brands and models of television for 2 months (April and May), and chose to order a Panasonic TX-P50VT30! I waited one month and nothing, the TV never came to the store! They told me that this model was sold out in Portugal and I would have to wait several more weeks, or as an option I could choose to buy the bigger sister VT30-55 inches. I decided to buy the TX-P55VT30, and I am delighted with the picture quality .. my settings are the factory and believe me it is not necessary to modify .. 3D is much more than good! When I see a blueray I spend more time looking at the details of the image than to see the movie .. ! I'm waiting for the fight of the best TV of 50 inches, 2011, (I hope you do also the best tv's 55 ") and in my opinion and after seeing many models of different brands (plasma, LED) the panasonic is the candidate the first place .. I also bought the new Pioneer LX54 BD player and is very good for the price it costs (430 euro).! Now all I need a good AV system and some good speakers to take advantage of sound and image, and where I can also hear a good cd of music with good sound quality. all good for you

it'll be interesting to see how this compares against the new sony hx923..

it ll be a good LED tv for shore.. one of the best tv's like others on the market.
