Had it confirmed from Panasonic that this IS a NeoPDP plasma, but it uses the older 2009 NeoPDP screen rather than the newer 2010 version, which is why some of the websites say 'No' in the tech specs (ie: it's not a 2010 NeoPDP, even if it is a 2009 one).
Just sent an email to Panasonic HQ to check.
According to Panasonic this S range does not have new NeoPDP plasma screen - http://panasonic.net/avc/viera/eu2010/product/comparison_plasma.html
Is this right?

There’s a lot to like about the Eole 3, but its lean bass will doubtless be an issue for some
