I bought one of these a fortnight ago as it states that it has a DTS decoder. I have an external media player with lots of films that have DTS audio on.
It has become apparent that this system does not have a true DTS decoder in in it.
It will only decode DTS from an internal source, i.e. a DVD however if one were to play an external source there is no audio.
I went into the panasonic shop and proved this to them at which point they said they could not accept it back as the box had been opened or if they did accept it back then I would lose 15% for restocking purposes.
Their consumer services has not been helpful even though they have admitted that it does not do what it says, that the AV Receiver does not decode DTS from an external source unlike all other AV Receivers!!!
Apart from that the system is good, great tallboy speakers.
