After reading the main review I purchased the machine couple of weeks ago but I am extremely disapointed to say the least. It is very slow in responding to remote commands and was flabbergasted to discover the Red Button feature is disabled on the BBC HD channels therefore I cannot access the IPLAYER or Channel 4s 4on demand even though it is stated on Freeview's website these are available through Freeview HD. I contacted Panasonic to find out why this was so and the response is as follows In response, there are no plans to release BBC iPlayer through our current range of blu ray players and home cinema systems. The BBC iPlayer feature is only available through our current range of freesat recorders and televisions as the feature requires a connection to your internet connection as well being tuned into a freesat tuner as it is received through the RED BUTTON service from the BBC through Freesat
In other words they want people to spend even more money to buy another box in order to access these sevices. This I find most annoying and I will not purchase another Panasonic product again!!!!

A decent, affordable effort from Otone but sound quality is tainted by a distracting brightness
Chord’s QBD76 HDSD is a top-class converter that delivers a brilliant sound from a well-built package. It has plenty of visual appeal, too
