Just bought one for my parents last saturday, left the loudspeakers in the box and hooked it up to my dad's 30 year old (but still perfect) IMF monitors (two-way), through wich it produced an excellent sound.
the 725 is a model and makes sense that its better then the denon. as it originally cost at least £50 more.

A decent, affordable effort from Otone but sound quality is tainted by a distracting brightness
Chord’s QBD76 HDSD is a top-class converter that delivers a brilliant sound from a well-built package. It has plenty of visual appeal, too
There are more talented rivals on the scene, but the veterans are enduring greats
