Really..... Can 50W pack some serious punch??? Would it make sense to hook it up to the front preout of my yamaha rx-A1030 connected to Dynaudio DM 2/6??? Some how felt Yamaha is not pushing the dyns to what they r capable of!!!! Worth hooking up the naim nap 100???
How can a 50W amp be a powerhouse?
I've owned a 50 Watt per channel Naim amp and it was quite scary how powerful it was with more efficient speakers. (The best performance started at a volume level way above what I wanted, so I ended up buying much less efficient - sealed enclosure - speakers to make the amp work a bit harder.)
My present system has 50wpc (actually 60wpc 'on paper') but there is absolutely no comparison. The Naim would just be 'clearing it's throat' at levels my Marantz would be struggling with, despite what the specs say. (Luckily I prefer moderate volume levels, and my speakers are a very easy load, so my Marantz is never required to do any 'heavy lifting'.)

A great amp with some notable musical skills, but it loses a star compared with its better-performing, better-specified rivals
Another admirable and attractive soundbar from LG, pipped to that fifth star by fierce competition
The large screen and punchy picture are highly attractive for this price, but you’ll have to forego the smart features and Full HD resolution
