How can a 50W amp be a powerhouse?
I've owned a 50 Watt per channel Naim amp and it was quite scary how powerful it was with more efficient speakers. (The best performance started at a volume level way above what I wanted, so I ended up buying much less efficient - sealed enclosure - speakers to make the amp work a bit harder.)
My present system has 50wpc (actually 60wpc 'on paper') but there is absolutely no comparison. The Naim would just be 'clearing it's throat' at levels my Marantz would be struggling with, despite what the specs say. (Luckily I prefer moderate volume levels, and my speakers are a very easy load, so my Marantz is never required to do any 'heavy lifting'.)

There’s a lot to like about the Eole 3, but its lean bass will doubtless be an issue for some
A system with stacks of detail, but its laid-back nature loses too much excitement for our liking
The Note 8.0 might have been a great tablet once, but now it looks outclassed and outdated
