On this occasion I agree with WHF view overall, as in 4 stars perhaps, though for different reasons. I'd be quite happy with the case and feel for my £2200, and the DAC is clearly a good one; and as for running "not hot" surely irrelevant in high end hi fi. No, for me it's not quite there sonically. Yes, it goes loud, very loud without changing its sonic shape, but it's the shape to start with that disappointed me, it;s lacking in that lively exciting involvement that the best SS amps have at around £1500+

Would be worth another look when NAD have the digital room correction working.
