Best in-ears £80-£120, Awards 2012. The added mic is handy, but it’s the better sound quality that really counts

Purchased a pair of these earphones, initial impressions of sound quality was good however the build quality is truly awful. The cable had a slight riout of the box and is so thin I know its only a matter of time before they break.

These are my first earphones costing a considerable amount ( considerable to me at £100 a pair , anyway) and not what I was expecting at all.

I've been using a pair of aJays ones for a about a year - inferior sound but will last 100 times as long.

Not too sure where to buy them is the only problem. I Tried iHeadphones UK through amazon.co.uk but what I've just received looks to be very poor quality so I've sent it back. The Sennheiser CX 300-II's I bought a couple years ago for £15 look better quality than what I received.

Now I'm chasing the up the distributor listed on the Beyerdynamic web site for where to buy them so I can be doubly certain I'm getting the real deal.

cool beans!
