I always wanted a Gyro Dec after hearing one 20 years ago, so when the funds became available I bought one but treated it to an SME 309 arm which is awesome.
On looks alone the Michell blows the "ploycarbonate" RPM 10 out of the water.
I'm swithering on upgradability i.e to a full ORBE, which sounds sublime.
For very little wonga.
I upgraded to the HR power supply, which is an amazing upgrade.
You don't get that with an RPM 10, you're stuck with it.
The Michell Gryo SE is British built with quality materials and the brass counter weights are gold plated for longevity.
Did I say it sounds and looks lush when it's playing.
Three years ago i was upgrading my turntable, after reading alot of very possitive reviews for the Gyrodeck i was really looking forward to hearing the Gyro. However i have to say the Project RPM 10 was a much better deck and made all my records sound smooth and very involving. The main advantage the RPM 10 had over the Michell Gyrodeck, is excellent deep and controlled bass and far less surface noise than the Gyro.

This Bose is tiny, but its warm, rich bassy sound is music to our ears
The Panasonic WT600 is a very capable TV regardless of its futureproofing and 4K picture
