LG 50PX990

I was looking at this LG,esp after that supertest,then i went on to user forums...Oh Dear...& im not just talking about a few unlucky samples,3D absolutely stinks apparently.but as a 2D its the cats pyjamas???

Had this TV for 1 week now, what a nightmare!

Problems with the following;

Line Bleed

3D brightness fluctuation

Extremely slow response to remote inputs

Won't connect to the network

Poor support from LG

Would not recommend to anyone.

I received mine a few days ago, absolutely no problems at all (perfect picture, no brightness issues, easy setup, remotes fine etc) so I think the previous reviewer has just been unlucky!

Connected to both my Sony S570 and Sky HD provide a flawless picture with realistic colour settings via the THX options.

Combined with my new Pioneer VSX2020 & 7.1 setup (AE & QAcoustics combined) its a serious performer.

Having been on the brink of investing in a much more expensive LED and then seeing the latest plasmas I really cannot recommend this highly enough.
