Out of curiosity, I've looked for a devices that can do what Lacies does (read pretty much all video/audio/picture formats and serve them in HD) and I didn't find any. Which ones are the author referring to when he says "others doing much more for the money"?
Sonos' or Squeezeboxes of this world don't do video/pictures.
