These speakers sound great and are easy to use as all of the reviews suggest, however unfortunately my experience with them is not so favorable. In short, they worked brilliantly for about half an hour and are now merely frustrating paperweights.I bought the JBL speakers at a duty free on my way out of Lyon, they were great the first time I used them as I have a Macbook air which has terrible speakers they were a good way of getting decent sound when watching movies. However the next morning I was playing some music through my phone and they began to turn off and on and eventually died completely. I thought it was the battery even though the charge meter said that it was full... I proceeded to charge them for the next 24 hours with no success... they are dead. After one day.The manual is terrible, there is very little support offered through JBL as well, even though their email says they will respond within one day they haven't after a week. I dont think there is any kind of reset or restart function anywhere, so there is very little you can do if this happens to you.All in all very frustrating, so beware.. they are great but if something goes wrong you are out of luck. Unfortunately I am not confident of returning them as being from NZ I won't be going through Lyon airport anytime soon.

The new JBL Flip SPEAKER PHONE works PERFECTLY via BLUE TOOTH with my iPHONE 4s.

Why do reviewers generally forget to test the speaker phone, and just look at the speakers?
