IXOS cables tend to sound refined, and the new XHA516-100 is no different: harshness and rough edges are non-existent. However, dynamic range is less impressive than the best rivals, and bass is a little sluggish and soft.
If you're after a gentle, mature sound, that's fine, but if drama and excitement is your bag, walk away.
