"performance". Assuming it holds the equipment without breaking then what on earth does that even mean? Surely you're not suggesting it changes the sound?
The solidity and stability (or not) of racks and stands may affect a component or speaker's ability to perform at its full potential - for example by reducing vibration.
1050 for some 'nice oak' that doesn't fit together very well. The end is nigh.....
