Absolutely worth the money!
They dig up detail and nuances from music I've listened to hundreds of times before and they delight every time.
I use them with an Ipod shuffle (max 256 kbps) or through my PC (lossless) and I can't wait for to listen to them through an Ipod & headphone amp (probably a Graham Slee Voyager) or through a new Marantz CD6002 CD player.
For this price you simply get a better set of headphones. Hook them up to an actual stereo and they sound amazing!! Lots of detail and the "Grado Sound" truly is amazing. Everyone says that they sound great through an iPod but I just don't hear it. I've got Beats by Dre and they have their own amp within the headphone so I guess I just don't hear it the same way being amped and all.
