The sound is thin yet boomy. It sounds a little better WITHOUT the bass module. The Ad states a 38Watt output, which is a complete LIE, because the unit is supplied with a power supply that is just UNDER 33VA (Watts). I was disappointed with the unit and although it is a good idea, it simply fails to deliver sonically. Paid $150AU and I think it's probably a good deal at half the price.
