I recently connected a pair between my Denon DVD-3930 player and Yamaha RX-A3010 Receiver, for Cd replay in a 'Pure Direct' signal with both displays switched off. They replaced an expensive digital RCA coax cable and boy what a difference they make! The sound is more dynamic, because of an improved bass punch, with a wide, open, deep, clear and very stable soundstage. They're not cheap, but to me worth all their money. So I am going to replace the 6 SACD cables as well with these top good quality Nu Divas. I have just started with the 2 front connections, and have to save up for the other 4. I am Dutch, but my wife is Scottish, and I am pleased to know that these cables come from Scotland as well. They are like a good 'malt whiskey' compared to the 'blended types'...!

The AVR-X2000 brings Denon back to the AV receiver top table in this ultra-competitive price category
A decent, affordable effort from Otone but sound quality is tainted by a distracting brightness
Chord’s QBD76 HDSD is a top-class converter that delivers a brilliant sound from a well-built package. It has plenty of visual appeal, too
