Demoed these at my local HiFi/AV shop. Wasn't much going on being a week day so tried out against the Arcam Muso/Logo 5.1 setup and the Monitor Audio R270HD10. bluray, CD and SACD 5.1 (only Tubular Bells). Fazons were better looking more a fashionable retro look but in sonic terms the subs and satellites from Arcam and Monitor Audio were especially in 2, 2.1 and 5.1 music. Listened to quite a lot of stuff. Wife was busy shopping...

How does What Hi-Fi think the Dali's rank against KEF's KHT 3005SE?

Thanks Clare.  I'll go to the forums for more advice on speakers (taking a mix'n'match approach - sub from different manufacturer).

On the downside of the Dalis, they're ugly as sin tho, aren't they? Smile

Have you seen the Fazons in the flesh? They're beautifully built and finished - not ugly at all in our opinion! But that's another reason everyone should try before they buy....Tastes differ.

No, I've not so I stand corrected.  Having looked at the Dali web site, I think they look a lot better with the front covers in place.  I'm not known for my taste tho... Smile

Yes. We think these Dalis are the best satellite speakers at this price point - notiiceably bettter than the B&W MT sats, which we tested them against.

The PV1 is a better sub than the Dali one, however - but then B&W have discontinued that marvel, too...
