I agree with previous review - a dogs dinner indeed! I don't like dropping negatives but this cable is one of the worst I've ever paid money for, don't know where WHAT-HIFI gets the hipe from. *** star at most

1) Bad news for valve equip user, very poor sreening you will have noise problems

2) Thin sounding ( even after weeks) and the metalic sound mentiond by ruskiru also noticed.

3) aweful RCA connectors very loose bad grip easily pulled off.

4) I was totally ignored by THE CHORD company customer dept. Never replied to my emails.

I hesitated for a long timer before buying this cable - not long enough though- wish I had not.  The Kimber Timber or even Cambridge 900 walk all over it in every way.

Sorry but that is it from me.

As per the review, the Chameleon Plus has a bigger, more dynamic and three-dimensional sound than the Crimson Plus I upgraded from. The sound is very punchy, and after 6 weeks of burn-in, the metallic sound on strings dropped away. While I was initially disappointed with the sound of the cable, some upgrades to my DAC, including a new USB cable, have changed the sound overall considerably and now everything sits happy with the Chameleon Plus and the sound exceeds my old Crimson Plus. All I can say is that for this cable, you need a good quality source or it might sound like a dogs dinner.
